About Me
My name is Yorick Sijsling. I have just completed the Computing Science master at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. I’ve chosen the track ‘programming technology’, where i finished the following courses:
- Compiler Construction
- Advanced Functional Programming
- Theory of Programming and Types
- Program Verification
- Automatic Program Analysis
- Data Mining (elective)
- Game Physics (elective)
- Geometric Algorithms (elective)
I have done a case study about scans in PiWare, as a 15 ECTS experimentation project. Grade: 9/10.
My master thesis: Generic programming with ornaments and dependent types. Grade: pending.
Besides learning stuff, i also enjoy endurance sports; running, cycling and i did competitive rowing for a while. I also like to listen to podcasts and audiobooks.
